Choral Productions Tasmania Inc.

the Incorporated Association which manages 3 choirs in southern Tasmania - the Lincoln Singers in Lindisfarne, the Southern Voices in Kingston, and the Men in Black male choir in Hobart.

Conductor and Musical Director Margot Lampkin founded all three choirs between 1997 and 2004 and they perform regularly as separate groups and as a 100-voice combined ensemble.

The choirs perform in and around Hobart and suburbs and in Launceston, and regularly in regional areas throughout Tasmania.

Before creating a full-time music business, Margot taught Beginner Choral Singing as an Adult Education course in Hobart from 1989 - 2007.

During this time, Margot was also Choral Director of Les Miserables in Hobart’s Theatre Royal in 1995, then Musical Director and Conductor of the Broadway version of Pirates of Penzance in 1996, and Me and My Girl and 42nd Street in 1997, all in the Theatre Royal, the oldest continually-operating live theatre in Australia.
